Casting call for supporting roles
HUGE response on the last breakdown — a million thanks to all of you!
Principal casting for the pilot is done but there are still some great supporting SOC and background roles. The breakdown is available at aactionauditions.com, and you can submit directly through them. There are 5 extra roles, 6 featured extra roles, and two non-speaking parts. Search for “Act Natural: Supporting roles”.
There are NO auditions for BG, and only a quick go-see for the Richard and Paul roles on the 25th, pending wardrobe.
I will say that there is always spin-off and recurrance potential for all roles, even BG roles. Read the script — if you love it, let’s make some great local media!

Welcome, dear web surfer, to the official website of Act Natural, the original web comedy series about the lives, loves and dwindling prospects of three commercial actors as they try to make careers for themselves in the often surreal world of television.
The 8 minute pilot is currently in preproduction, and is scheduled to shoot July 18th and 19th in Toronto, Canada. The show is written and directed by yours truly, Chris Frampton, and is the first fictional series produced by Flyweight Films, my brand new digital production company.
Principal casting is done, but there are still some great secondary roles to be cast, and even some plum/fun extra roles (trust me — I don’t say that lightly).
If you’ve ever wanted to get involved in cutting edge indie media production, this might be a chance to get your feet wet (or wetter).
